NAIGC National Championships Info

Nationals 2010 was hosted by the NAIGC and Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, Thursday, April 8 through Saturday April 10. The event was held at the Texas State University Student Recreation Center.

Thank you to all the volunteers and meet workers that made the event a success! Our teams competed very well thanks to the support of the fans.

Welcome to the Texas State Gymnastics website!!! On this page you will find information for the Texas State Gymnastics team, the Gymkats community gymnastics program, and other information for the Texas State Gymnastics Club.

The Texas State Gymnastics Club is a sports club for Texas State University and was established in 1968 making it one of the oldest sports clubs in the history of the university. The club serves three main purposes:

1. To promote gymnastics participation at all levels to the student body
2. To provide gymnastics instruction to the San Marcos community through GymKatz
3. To provide gymnasts with the opportunity to engage in competition

The club also participates in a variety of fundraisers, hosts competitions, and is currently planning a variety of community service projects.

Gymnastics Club Practice Info

No experience is required. We invite anyone who is interested in the sport of gymnastics to participate! Practices are not mandatory, although if you wish to compete we do encourage you to attend as many as you can.

Mondays: 7pm - 9pm
Wednesdays: 7pm - 9pm
Thursdays: 7pm - 9pm

Dues: $40 per semester

History of the Club

The Texas State Gymnastics Club enjoys a long rich history. Our current members are in the process of gathering information about the club's past to preserve that history in order to remember and remain true to the traditions of the club.
